Wishlist: Oliver Spencer jacket, Bamford candle and Glenfiddich whisky

From a 'Buffalo' jacket to a Bonneville Bobber from Triumph, this is what we want this week...

Ditch the desktop and start taking notes with this beautiful writing instrument. With an ebony construction and an 18 carat gold nib (both of which are Swiss-made), the Caran d’Ache rose gold fountain pen is the ultimate home office (and blazer pocket) accessory.

Created in partnership with French crystal manufacturer Baccarat, the Finest Solera is the first instalment in Glenfiddich’s Cask Collection. To kickstart the creation process, malt master Brian Kinsman chose 20 whiskies from Glenfiddich’s collection of rarities which had been matured in ex-bourbon and American oak casks. Once selected, the whiskies were blended and matured simultaneously – a process otherwise known as ‘Solera.’ The final product was then bottled in a Baccarat crystal decanter and capped with a copper stopper.

Inspired by contemporary tailoring, this slim-fit, forest-green Buffalo jacket by Oliver Spencer is perhaps our favourite piece of outerwear right now. Made from cotton-corduroy, and complete with a sand-beige shearling collar, this menswear must-have is perfect to wear either under a large overcoat or simply over a plain white T-shirt.

Red – the renowned digital cinema camera company – has just released its latest flagship sensor, the Monstro 8K VV, and it’ll be sold in combination with the existing Weapon camera in order to create the new Weapon 8K VV. And, despite the fact that the combined unit will cost up to £60,000, it’s perhaps the finest piece of tech for professional videographers. The new sensor can capture 8K full format video at up to 60 frames per second, it takes 35.4-megapixel stills and has “17+ stops of dynamic range”, meaning you’ll capture more shadow detail. Orders for the system will be taken in 2018.

Winter accessories aren’t limited to just clothing. Like a timeless shearling coat or a wool tie, an opulent candle can add a touch of sophistication to any home. So, if you’re looking to give your abode some stylish warmth, you can’t go wrong with the Edition 1 by Bamford. A blend of vetiver, bergamot and dark amber make this candle a welcome addition to any room.

Blending the best of French and Japanese perfumery, Maison Kitsuné and Heeley have collaborated to create this season’s freshest scent, Note de Yuzu. Inspired by the renowned Japanese citrus fruit and traditional yuzu baths, this zesty fragrance will give any grooming cupboard an instant upgrade. Other notes include sea salt, Vetiver d’Haiti and white musk.

Late in 2016, Triumph released one of the most popular motorbikes around: the Bonneville Bobber. Featuring a post-war style design and contemporary electronics, this two wheeled beauty quickly earned a reputation as the coolest road vehicle on the planet. And earlier this month, Triumph announced an update to the model. Almost identical to the original, the new Bobber Black is made with a smaller front wheel, an upgraded brake system and – unsurprisingly – is painted in a sleek all-black colourway. For the petrolheads out there, this is a garage essential.
