It’s been quite a five years for Gentleman’s Journal. We’ve worked with big names – from Bill Nighy to Christoph Waltz, travelled the world, and published some of the most considered and exciting articles in modern magazining. Dabbling in politics, style, watches and motoring, we’ve curated a series of journals and online articles to help modern men remain socially astute and well-versed in every area and on every important issue.
And, during this time, we have collaborated with some of the most exciting names in luxury. From carmakers to tailors, we’ve met incredible people and had amazing experiences through these partnerships – and are happy to share some of our birthday cards from these top-tier brands.
Land Rover and Gentleman’s Journal have a long and exciting history. Earlier this year, we partnered with the car manufacturer to create our very first luxury supplement, which was released with our May/June issue.
The new Range Rover, which was unveiled this month, also shares its 5th birthday with Gentleman’s Journal – so it’s been five years of sophisticated luxury that has always been understated and timeless. These values are shared with Gentleman’s Journal, so for those ‘sitting on the tailgate’ moments watching the polo, the Land Rover design team led by Chief Designer, Gerry McGovern has crafted the ultimate Gentleman’s Journal-branded Range Rover accessory.
Barbour, outfitters to outdoorsmen all over the world – and even James Bond – have long been a favourite of Gentleman’s Journal. Happily, we appear to have been a favourite of the South Shields brand also, as this birthday card attests.
Creators of the most sumptuous and decadent musical instruments in the world, Steinway’s quality and attention to detail epitomises everything Gentleman’s Journal values – so much so, that we travelled to Hamburg earlier this year to learn everything about what goes into their instruments.
Outfitters to the most discerning gentlemen, dunhill are among one of the finest luxury brands in London. Gentleman’s Journal were so taken by their latest tailoring offerings, in fact, that we dressed latest cover star Christoph Waltz in a dunhill suit on our latest cover.
There are fewer brands more luxurious than Bentley. The quality carmaker has been a favourite of Gentleman’s Journal as a result, and we have tested many of their finest cars across the years.
Earlier this year, Gentleman’s Journal teamed up with luxury private jet charter service Fly Victor for a series of travel articles, telling discerning globe-trotting gents where they should be flying this summer. One of our most high-flying partners, Fly Victor’s CEO Clive Jackson took time out of his jet-setting schedule to wish us a happy birthday.
