Bright spark: Lotus ‘Eletre’ Electric SUV
Last night, Lotus unveiled its latest; an all-electric SUV they call ‘Eletre’. The homegrown, homespun British carmaker is a little late to the 4×4 game, but there’s lots to impress here; from the Evija-inspired, hypercar curves and a full-width LED light ‘ribbon’ at the rear, to a purported range of 373 miles and 0-60mph time of under three seconds.
Raise a glass: Mercer + Prince Canadian Whiskey
When Gentleman’s Journal met A$AP Rocky in 2018, he told us: “All my business endeavours, and all my musical endeavours, all my artistic endeavours — it all comes natural”. The latest endeavour is his most spirited yet; a smooth-sipping whiskey brand inspired by his favourite NYC crossroads and infused with nutty Japanese oak flavours.
Flying high: Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 46
Nobody could have predicted the phenomenon the Navitimer would become. And yet, 70 years after the famed watch first ticked to life, the meticulous, marvellous Swiss brand is celebrating the icon’s 70th anniversary in style. This is the finest of 14 new Navitimers; with a case hewn from stainless steel and a shimmering blue-hued dial.
