Polestar unveils a trio of no-nonsense, all-action Arctic Circle cars

Intended to exhibit ‘Swedish performance DNA’, this slew of snow-ready vehicles has been given a rally-style treatment

Polestar, the Swedish EV maker, is celebrated for its clean lines and elegant forms – design sensibilities synonymous with Scandinavian style. In its most recent move, the marque has also leaned into another element heavily associated with the region: the great outdoors. Announced in recent days, Polestar has revealed a trio of Arctic Circle cars that are intended to ‘showcase Swedish performance DNA’ – an idea originally realised in 2022, when the label applied a special formula to its Polestar 2, and has now expanded to Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.

Mentre Polestar 2 e Polestar 3 sono dotate di barre portatutto Thule WingBar Edge, Polestar 4 dispone di supporti specifici per gli sci. La 3 è inoltre equipaggiata con una pala Fiskars SnowXpert e rampe da neve.

Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller said: “The Arctic Circle collection illustrates our unique performance DNA, rooted in motorsport and combined with Scandinavian design. We develop our cars under challenging conditions within the Arctic Circle in Sweden, and at the FAT Ice Race [where the cars made their public debut, on 1 February] we will showcase that on ice there is nothing better than a Polestar.”
