Yacht of the Week: Khalilah

Brace yourselves – this one's a beauty

Brace yourselves gentlemen, because we’re about to give you one of the most lavish and epic charter yachts you’ll ever have come across.

Khalilah was launched in 2015 by Palmer Johnson and now available for charter through Camper & Nicholsons, this striking 49m yacht is as sophisticated in functionality as she is in design.

Her interiors are immediately eye-catching and vast in volume. Decorated in a unique colour palette with vibrant fabrics and artwork, alongside floor-to-ceiling windows, she’s bound to draw attention to herself – for all the right reasons. From the main saloon bar to the dining area, which incidentally is hosted by a two-star Michelin-trained chef, everything about the yacht aims to make you feel right at home.

Head outdoors and you will be impressed by the aft-deck which is vast at 110 square metres with huge sun-pads, an alfresco dining area and a jacuzzi – the whole area is dedicated to relaxing and socialising.

The amenities, as you’d expect, are second-to-none, from the jet-skis and jet surf to the custom 7m tender (painted in the same colour as the yacht itself) to the large beach club and Michelin-trained chef at your fingertips.

Initially, her shape seems sporty and masculine, but on further inspection she has the shape of a curvaceous woman. She’s also the largest carbon yacht to ever be built; she’s economical on fuel, is fast, reliable and strong, thanks to her 10.8 metre beam which alongside the two sponsons, mean she is capable of cruising at 20 knots.

Khalilah can host up to 11 guests in 5 cabins with 9 crew members, led by Aaron Udall she is easily the yacht to be seen on this summer. Charter on the Western Mediterranean from €215,000 per week with Camper & Nicholsons.
