The Samsung CJ791 is a 34-inch curved monitor with a QLED display. It also has a Thunderbolt 3 built-in port (the high-bandwidth interconnect that works with the USB-C connector and ultimately streamlines the number of cables required to hook-up a series of peripherals to your computer) making it the first ever curved QLED TV with the feature. Moreover, it comes with a 3440×1440 resolution, a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 178-degree viewing angle. More details are yet to be revealed, but the company has said that the screen produces “deeper blacks, brighter whites and pristine shades.”

Hive View security camera

As tech is becoming more focused on fulfilling new desires in domestic life, having a camera to monitor your home is considered the norm – yet most options on the market look more like clunky gadgets than a slick product you want on display. Enter the Hive View Security Camera. Designed by Yves Béhar – the man behind of all Hive’s home products – the View is a dockable rounded cube monitor that sits on a magnetic clasp. Aesthetics aside, it streams 1080p HD on demand (with an wide-angled, non-distorted lens), can alert you when it detects motion or sound, has an option to access older videos and can tell the difference between humans and pets – all you have to do is connect it to your phone. Available now in white and champagne gold or black and brushed copper.

A4 envelope portfolio by Ettinger

Wishlist: Samsung TV, Aston Martin DB4 GT & more

Although a backpack, with its ergonomic duo straps and easy-to-wear nature, is a popular choice of bag for men the world over, it still has its flaws. First, it can prove tricky to cart around when travelling to work in the morning – after all, it is the one famous accessory that causes annoyance to fellow commuters. Second, it may fit in all your documents and laptop, but it doesn’t necessarily scream ‘boardroom ready’ whenever you step inside your office. That’s where the A4 envelope by Ettinger comes in handy.

Sleek and slim, this chestnut document portfolio is made in the shape of an envelope and is a simple and fuss-free way to carry all your essentials throughout the day. The magnetic fastening will hold all files securely, while the extra slip pocket will store away any business cards. The waxy hide also ensures protection in harsh elements and the silky suede inside will guarantee that your MacBook or tablet will remain scratch-free.

Aston Martin DB4 GT

Wishlist: Samsung TV, Aston Martin DB4 GT & more

To the delight of petrol heads, Aston Martin has revived the iconic DB4 GT for the 21st century. Produced using the original plans and blueprints, the latest version is almost an identical replica of its 1969 forebear, only with some premium upgrades in materials and production techniques. Under the bonnet you’ll also find the same Tadek Marek-design 3.7-litre straight-six engine, however this time it’ll send 340 horsepower to the rear wheels. In terms of availability, there are only 25 models available (50 fewer than the first DB4 GT), so make sure to act fast.
