Where To Go – Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup

The Gold Cup is the highlight of the polo season and takes place every year at Cowdray Park, the home of British Polo. Cowdray Park is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is located within the 16,500-acre estate owned by Viscount Cowdray.

The final of the Gold Cup takes place this Sunday the 15th and is considered one of the highlights of the summer’s sporting calendar. The combination of world class players fighting it out for the prestigious cup, a great shopping village and a beautiful location, makes the Gold Cup a must do event. Even if you have never watched a chukka before, the commentators with there enthusiastic guidance will soon get you hooked. There is also a mini fun fair to keep the children entertained, as well as a wider range of bars and food outlets.

If you have no plans this Sunday then we suggest you make up a large picnic for your family and friends and head to sunny Sussex for an action packed afternoon. cowdraypolo.co.uk
