You may remember those great adverts a decade or so ago that actually engaged you and made you want to bUy the products. They were simple and effective and unlike today’s adverts they didn’t seem to try so hard.

Brand Magical is a blog that takes a look back at this bygone era of advertising and brings you a selection of the best and most innovative adverts ever created.

One of our favorite ones is of a VW Golf advert from 1987, which for the first time showed women in a power role rather than just a sexual object. Needless to say it was a huge success as women liked the fact they weren’t being objectified. See more at brandmagical.com
