The JetLev R200

The JetLev R200

Raymond Li, the inventor of the JetLev released this statement when he revealed his product to the world:

“When I was 14 years old, I watched James Bond fly a jetpack in the movie ‘Thunderball,’ and have dreamed of flying one ever since. However, after decades of patient waiting, jetpack technology didn’t get any closer to mainstreaming personal flight… so I decided to invent a machine that would.”

After numerous prototypes, JetLev has finally completed the development of its R200 model.

The jetpack is powered by water pumped at more than 1,000 gallons per minute from a 200-horsepower marine engine up a 10-meter hose connected your jetpack. It’s capable of speeds of up to 25 mph at a height of nine meters and can travel for a distance of 80 miles. It’s the thrust of the water gushing out of two ground-facing nozzles coming out of the jetpack that enables you to take to the skies. This means that you are limited to flying over water, however this might not be such a bad idea if things take a turn for the worse in mid-fight, at lest you will have the water below instead of solid land. £60,000 JetLev.com
