The Diary: Johnnie Walker Rare Side of Scotland launch

Friends of the whisky brand toasted its latest launch on Selfridges rooftop

It was a suitably chilly evening on Selfridges rooftop last night as Johnnie Walker gathered friends and whisky aficionados to celebrate the launch of its latest special edition dedicated to Scotland. Guests, including Sam Way, Jack Guinness, Sam Harwood and Ryan Barrett, braved the cold to raise a glass of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Rare Side of Scotland and marvel at its stunning bottle designed by Glasgow-based textile design studio Timorous Beasties.

Guests cosied up in bothies (Scottish mountain hideaways) and enjoyed Johnnie Walker cocktails and dishes created by Selfridges’ San Carlo team as the London skyline provided the perfect twinkling backdrop. Scroll down to see more from the event…
