Real Madrid in pristine white, the All Blacks in, well, all black, and Tiger Woods in ‘Sunday red’ – that unmistakable outfit of slouchy trousers, black shoes (boundary pushing at the time), a black cap and a blood red Nike mock neck. Some sporting uniforms come pre-packaged with an extra slice of psychological edge.
