Tom Ford is the designer whose suits unite the best-dressed men around across the Atlantic. Now you can become part of the in-crowd as he is opening the label’s first stand-alone shop on our side of the pond on none other than the Knightsbridge end of Sloane Street, of course, across the road from sartorial Gods Dolce & Gabbana.

Ford is known to be a perfectionist and a man who will settle for nothing less than perfect. The man is in his fifties, for goodness’ sake, and still looks like the coolest guy in the room. So we expected excellence in his store – and we got it in heaps.

Kitted out with an epic spiral staircase and a grooming area on the ground floor where you can by the exclusive fragrance Private Blend London, the store spans a vast 8,000 square feet. Look out for Ford’s upcoming men’s skincare collection due to launch in November. It goes without saying that you can’t possibly leave this marble mecca without purchasing a trademark Ford suit.

Timberlake, Pitt and Depp have all suited up in theirs for the spotlight so what’s stopping you?
