STYLE – Passavant and Lee: No 25 Briefcase
Words: Violet

If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if two intimidatingly attractive male models, from different sides of the pond, joined forces and started their own men’s accessories label, then you needn’t wonder any longer, as we introduce you to new kids on the men’s accessories block – Passavant & Lee.
Between them, Jon Passavant and Benj Lee have modelled for the likes of Dior, Ralph Lauren, Estée Lauder, Dunhill and Armarni. If you’re feeling inferior already, just you wait. As now, these two internationally recognised models have pooled their creativity and experience in the fashion industry to launch their own company. The result? What can only be described as a truly breathtaking piece of leatherwear; the Passavant & Lee No 25 Aluminium and Leather Briefcase.
Whilst ‘breathtaking’ might not be the expected reaction to something as usually mundane as a briefcase, when we say it here, we really mean it. And luckily enough, it works as well as it looks. With two large slip in pockets, cardholders, pen pockets, and space for a 15” laptop, there isn’t much that this briefcase can’t handle. The attention to detail is flawless with a construction of full-grain leather and aircraft-grade aluminium detailing. The luxurious suede interior and sturdy brass lock and key are combined to make this the perfect marriage of functionality and sleek style.
The partnership was born out of friendship, so both Passavant and Lee made sure that both their native countries played essential roles in the design and manufacture of the briefcase. The vegetable tanned leather and custom colour was created in partnership with Horween Leather Company in the USA, with the solid lock and key manufactured in the UK.
This is the definitive statement accessory for any discerning gentleman who wants to be as stylish as he is serious in the boardroom. If Passavant & Lee’s next offering is even half as good as this one, they are most certainly a brand to be reckoned with.
