Talk about a room with a view! This extraordinary house was conceptualised by Modscape for a client who wanted to explore design options for extreme parts of coastal land in Australia. The company, who specialise in sustainable pre-fabricated houses, have said that the five storey modular home was inspired by the way barnacles cling to the hull of a ship. Designed with minimalistic furnishings to give the owner the chance of an absolute conection with the ocean, the three bedroom house boasts unrivalled privacy and views from every room. Unfortunately, there’s no news yet on whether the client has ordered construction to go ahead.
