For those of you in great need of a little January pick me to beat the blues then try this amazing cocktail from the boys at Amuse Bouche. Alistair Frost and Claude Compton were the brains behind our winter cocktails feature, so why not try your own hand at this delicious – and seasonal – cocktail…

Ingredients

25 ml Gun Dog Gin

15 ml Crème de Cassis

15 ml Lemon Juice

15 ml Sugar Syrup

50 ml Champagne

Method

Shake Gun Dog Gin, Cassis & fresh lemon juice. Strain over ice & fill with champagne.

Garnish with damsons, lemon peel, lime peel and a sprig of mint
