A momenous uniting of British brands
England's finest sparkling wine Nyetimber is strengthening its sporting prowess by joining forces with revered sporting institution British Cycling
Nyetimber has a long history of partnering with iconic British sporting institutions – from its role as the official sparkling wine of Team GB at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to its exclusive collaboration with the Royal Thames Yacht Club. Now, the pioneer of English sparkling wine can add another prestigious partnership to its CV, having recently been announced as the official sparkling wine of British Cycling, one of the world's leading national governing bodies dedicated to the sport of cycling.

The West Sussex-based brand, which produces exclusively sparkling wines made from one hundred percent estate-grown grapes, will be involved across British Cycling’s entire portfolio of events. This entails everything from presenting magnums to podium riders at the Lloyds Tour of Britain to being a staple in its hospitality offering and playing a key role in celebrations such as British Cycling's star-studded Awards evening.

The partnership is based upon deep synergies between the two brands: both are dedicated to the art of spreading joy – whether that’s Nyetimber’s passion for celebrating life’s special moments or British Cycling’s commitment to highlighting the pleasure of cycling.
As Nyetimber CEO and owner Eric Heerema stated, “There are a lot of synergies between us as partners, and our DNA shares the same passion, dedication and vibrancy. Nyetimber is all about celebrations, whether big or small – an ethos that is echoed by British Cycling in its encouragement to help everyone achieve and celebrate their goals in the sport.”

British Cycling’s Chief Commercial Officer reinforced the sentiment, saying that Nyetimber “aligns with our values and the excellence we endeavour to bring to everything that we do”.
