Win a Mirabeau Rosé bundle, including a six-litre ‘Methusaleh’ and dinner in Marylebone

In our latest competition, we’re giving away multiple large format bottles of Mirabeau rosé wine, the brand’s dry gin — and a three-course meal at 108 Brasserie…

Summer may be nearing its sun-drenched end, but we’re determined to keep the rosé-fuelled, pale pink party going. That’s why, to keep your glasses and summer spirits raised, we’ve partnered with Provence’s most mouth-watering vineyard, Mirabeau, to keep you in fine wine for many months to come.

And these aren’t your normal bottles. Though we’re uncorking proceedings with a couple of regular bottles of Mirabeau’s super pale rosé, ‘Pure’, we’re also throwing in two large magnums of the maison’s powder-pink wine — not to mention a huge six-litre ‘Methusaleh’ of the rarefied rosé, valued at £300 alone.

It’s a wonderful wine for entertaining, so suits these larger format bottles beautifully. And Mirabeau’s vines, grown along the French Riviera, spring up from the clay-concentrated soil of the Côtes de Provence. That’s why the Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes plucked by the talented ‘Pure’ winemakers are so richly and fruitily flavoured.

It’s a delectable blend that delivers a pleasant base of delicate summer berries, ranging from rich raspberry to slightly tart cranberries. And there are even more exotic fruits to be found in the mix; with peach, passion fruit and even lychee also lingering in every sip.

The mouthfeel has a slight citrus sensation — a welcome, refreshing smack to savour as summer draws to an end. But the wine’s best touch isn’t its fruity flavours, nor is it the gentle white florals or delicate violet aromas. Rather, it is the almost-hidden herby notes; whether that be lavender, mint or eucalyptus. This is what sets ‘Pure’ apart — and makes it one of Mirabeau’s best.

Because, while we may be giving away botlles of ‘Pure’, the winemaker also offers a selection of other wines, including the high-end gastronomic rosé ‘Etoile’, the peachy, organic and vegan ‘Nude Pink’ and the accomplished aperitif wine, ‘Azure’. The label also, excitingly, produces a gin — and we are throwing two bottles of that into our giveaway.

Taking the subtle herby hints of the wine above, and bringing them into clearer botanical-brimming focus, Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin is a singular spirit; truly emblematic of the French Riviera. Inspired by fruits and flavours that grow wild on Mirabeau’s wine estate near Saint Tropez, the gin is created using local botanicals — infused into a 100% grape-based neutral spirit made using grape skins discarded during the wine-making process.

And these botanicals — including lemon and coriander to bring layers of fresh citrus, orris and Angelica roots to bring earthy aromas and rose, and both lavender and jasmine to round things off with floral tones — swirl together to create a gin ideally distilled for summer days, but also a spirit rich enough to introduce into later-year cocktails such as a Martinez or Spiced Negroni.

But we’re not done yet. Although you’ll have both your hands and glasses full with this bounty of bottles, we’re also sending our lucky winner for a luxurious three-course dinner at one of London’s finest eateries; the contemporary Marylebone restaurant, 108 Brasserie.

108 Brasserie, marked out by its striking awnings and brick red frontage, has rich red leather and parquet wood interiors designed by Alexander Waterworth. And the dishes themselves are as unique as the decor — with plates including ‘Blackened Miso Cod Fillet’, ‘Wild Mushroom & Tarragon Risotto’ and ‘Atlantic Prawn Linguine’.

You’ll get the chance to enjoy these meaty mains alongside starters such as ‘Suffolk Smoked Salmon’ and the ‘Hand-Chopped Steak Tartare‘, before finishing off your evening with a ‘Virunga Chocolate Fondant’ or ‘Baked Lemon Cheesecake’. But the best part of your evening? Perusing the drinks menu and sampling some more fine wines and cocktails.

Because, not only does 108 Brasserie have Mirabeau’s ‘Nude’ and ‘La Folie’ rosés tucked away in its well-stocked cellar, the restaurant also has a curated collection of sumptuous cocktails mixed with Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin.

So let’s recap; enter your details below, and you could be in with a chance of winning the following bundle of bottles and dinner date reservations:

  • 2 x regular bottles of Mirabeau ‘Pure’
  • 2 x Magnums of Mirabeau ‘Pure’
  • 1 x six-litre Methuselah of Mirabeau ‘Pure’
  • 2 x bottles of Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin
