Masterpiece preview: Michael Goedhuis

Michael Goedhuis has been committed for 30 years to dealing in the finest works of Asian art, with a major focus on Chinese Contemporary Ink Art. Ink art is the quintessential art form of Chinese civilisation and its contemporary version provides collectors and institutions with a foothold not only in what is fashionable, but also what is meaningful as a continuation of the vitality of Chinese culture.

Michael Goedhuis’ contemporary art gallery in London represents many different stylistic approaches, which have evolved significantly over the years. Works range from those that at first sight look quite traditional, but in fact embody powerful fresh aesthetic initiatives, to those that are unambiguously avant-garde.

Masterpiece takes place from the 25 June – 1 July at The Royal Hospital Chelsea, SW3 4LW.
