There comes that time in every working gentleman’s life when he realises that there may only be a matter of weeks – or days – to go before the sun runs out and the days return to the cold, harsh 7 hours of sunlight that we get so used to for the majority of the year. So naturally, you get frustrated with yourself because you realise that you’ve done it again, you’ve left it far too late to book any kind of legitimate, luxury holiday. Well, think again gentlemen, because all of this time you’ve been completely missing the one place guaranteed to give you everything – and more – that you need from a luxury holiday. This is where La Haut Refren comes in:

What? Picture this: an incredibly elegant and beautiful French house that’s set inside extensive grounds with stunning panoramic views of the Gulf of St Tropez, between the charming hill villages of La Garde Freinet and Grimed. Further still, picture a stunning house that’s been refurbished to the highest standard, beautiful wooden wide plank flooring throughout all living areas and bedrooms, contemporary lighting and bathroom fittings. The whole home combines incredible antique artefacts with more modern pieces to provide the very definition of pure elegance and comfort.

Details: There are two houses available for rent, the main house and the large cottage. The main house has 3 double bedrooms, all with large en-suite bathrooms. There are three large terraces all with stunning views of St Tropez and the south of France. The large cottage is perfect for a couple, with one large bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The extensive grounds are perhaps the most impressive feature of the whole property, with various different terraced levels and olive groves with unrivalled views of the Bay of St Tropez.

Price: It obviously depends on the season, but the houses can be booked out in weekly slots and range from around £2,000 to £6,000. It’s worth mentioning also that the property comes with the Donzi 22 ZX boat that’s available for the summer months for £340 a day.
