Irish whiskey maker Jameson have been making whiskey since 1780. Distilled, matured and blended by one team in a single distillery in Ireland, the integrity in the making is what they’re all about. It seems only fitting then that they would look to shed light on other equally compelling worlds where skill, craft and execution is paramount.

Their latest project, The Jameson Works x Game series looks in detail at the British game season, which is already well underway. A long term project, which will see Jameson collaborate with talented filmmakers, musicians, artists and designers, The Jameson Works focuses on the sharing the knowledge and the stories behind the craft, shedding light on the exceptional attention to detail and effort that goes into the work of real craftsmen.

For The Jameson Works x Game project, they’ve enlisted the help of top chefs to delve into the craft and tradition of British game season through a series of short films. In the films they share some of the know-how that goes into the preparation, cooking and serving of this unique cuisine.

If you’re after some professional tips or just want to get inspired, then be sure to check out the series. The chefs on board with the project include James Lowe (head chef at Lyle’s) and Brad McDonald (head chef at The Lockhart), so you know you’re in good hands. You can view the video here.

Additionally, as part of The Jameson Works x Game project, they are offering a bursary scheme, giving you the chance to acquire funding for a creative project of your own. If you’re working on something and need some support then you can apply for anything from £100 up to £4000.
