Introducing: Holland and Holland Range Rover

Land Rover has collaborated with Holland and Holland to create a special edition Range Rover. The model has been created by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations department (SVO) and the flagship Range Rover sees a number of bespoke features, perfectly complementing each other’s brands.

With Land Rover and Holland & Holland seen in fields across the country, and both companies holding Royal Warrants, the match seems made in heaven – resulting in the most luxurious and expensive Range Rover ever. The base model is a Range Rover Autobiography Black, the current pinnacle of the Land Rover range. It has been redesigned by SVO which will build 40 vehicles a year for three years.

Available with either a 4.4 litre SDV8 diesel engine with 339hp or Land Rover’s 5.0 litre, 510hp supercharged V8 petrol, power for the Range Rover will be plentiful. The interior is where the key changes are seen though, with the gun manufacturer getting its own unique colour – Holland & Holland Green. Badging from the firm can also be found on the Range Rover, which is available in both standard and long-wheelbase versions.

As you would expect from such a partnership, the cabin has been upholstered in beautiful tan leather with Holland & Holland stitching on the front seats, while sustainably sourced French walnut veneer has been polished to resemble the oil-finished stocks of the famous craftsman-built guns. What really sets the model apart though is the boot.

A leather-trimmed cabinet has been specifically designed for the car’s loadspace and can be fitted to transport the owner’s pair of Holland & Hollands. Removable when maximum load space is required, the cabinet is made from aluminium and carbon fibre and finished with leather and wood veneer. It has been designed to slide out smoothly when access is needed and also load bearing so owners can sit on it to change footwear.

The Holland & Holland Range Rover will cost £180,000 with just 120 units made. For more information on Holland and Holland, click here.
