What do Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth have in common? Well, they’ve both won Academy Awards and they’re both in this scintillating new psychological drama from Rowan Joffe. Before I Go to Sleep, adapted from S.J. Watson’s bestselling novel, explores the effects of a wife’s amnesia on her husband, her doctors, and most importantly, her past.

Mark Strong plays the sketchy physician, whose relationship with Kidman’s character looks to be a point of particular tension in the film. With such star names in the cast, you wouldn’t be alone in anticipating this to be one of the films of the year. All we know is that this trailer looks absolutely thrilling.
