Gladiator is the strongest superyacht on the seas

Built with meticulous might, is this the strongest yacht on show at the Monaco Yacht Show?

Gladiators aren’t famed for backing away from fights – and this sturdy and sculpted superyacht is no exception. Fourth in the highly successful Vantage series, and built with meticulous might by the renowned Royal Van Lent Feadship yard in Holland, this steel and aluminium vessel is versatile, reliable and has battled its way to the top of its class.

At an incredible 499 GRT, the interiors are unparalleled in size, and Gladiator benefits from a unique layout that can house more guests on the main deck than any other superyacht of her size.

And, even with this spacious interior, the outside spaces offer ample space – from a sundeck equipped with Jacuzzi, sunbathing space and al fresco dining area to an aft deck with shelter from the sun.

It is this aft deck that once again show’s Gladiator pushing to the front of her field. A stairway offers easy access to the sea and her toy store is one of the most impressive on the water – including a 22ft tender and water toys including a Yamaha Jetski and two Seabobs.

And, with capacity for ten guests to enjoy these activities – alongside ten crew who staff Gladiator – the extra space is welcomed. Inside a full beam master suite is situated forward on the main deck, and benefits from excellent views and an ensuite bathroom.

Between this owner’s suite and the lobby are the remaining four cabins, all of which are ready for conversion into either doubles or twins – flexibility is another of Gladiator’s key strengths.

Inside, a bar, big deck aft saloon and lazarette steam room will keep you busy even when you’re sailing, and iPads throughout, with televisions and sound systems ensure that everyone will remain entertained.

And so, the combination of a bright upper sky lounge and minimalist interior, coupled with a range of 4500 miles and top speed of 14 knots mean Gladiator combines beauty and brawn – and is a complete knock-out.

Gladiator is offered for sale by Camper and Nicholsons for €23,000,000. Contact Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper and Nicholsons at +377 97 97 77 00 or aleesbuckley@camperandnicholsons.com
