Tuesday 13th May marked the second and final day of Gentleman's Journal Live, our series of live panel discussions and keynote talks with movers and shakers, held in the light-filled Phillips gallery space on Berkeley Square, in collaboration with Polestar, Penfolds, Native Land and Allbirds.
Gentleman's Journal’s esteemed editor Joseph Bullmore hosted the series, which kicked off with a panel talk on what good hospitality means, featuring a riveting conversation between Jesse Burgess, Santiago Lastra and Sandia Chang. Next up was Jon Connell, founder of The Week, who dissected the rise of new media platforms and their influence. Polestar's CEO Michael Lohscheller then spoke about the future of mobility, examining how technology and the environment impact travel, and the day concluded with a panel discussion between Joe Twyman, Tom Gearing and Chris Youé on the growing appeal of alternative investments like wine, watches and vintage cars.
The day culminated with an exclusive Founders and CEOs Dinner at Phillips, bringing together some of the most innovative and influential minds from across the tech, business and media industries.
