That’s the spirit: Connolly x Sebastian Conran Drinks Case
What happens when two titans of British design have a head-on collision? This motoring-inspired drinks case, that’s what. Crafted by Connolly in collaboration with Sebastian Conran, this leather-bound binocular case contains a bottle, two compact glasses and a pair of hip flasks in the shape of small, spirited jerry cans.
Silver lining: Tudor Black Bay 32/36/41 Silver Dial
Launched last month, one of Tudor’s many new novelties is this; a silver satin sun-brushed dial variation of the Black Bay 32/36/42. Made from a block of 316L steel (one of the most robust in existence), the dial is marked with indices finished in black rhodium and ticks with snowflake hands inspired by the brand’s sporty Sixties models.
Pick up the scent: Creed Viking Cologne
Just in time for summer, we’ve been treated to a bold, fresh new fragrance from the House of Creed. Combining zingy lemon, bergamot, mandarin and pink pepper, ‘Viking Cologne’ bears little resemblance to the brand’s original, more autumnal ‘Viking’. Instead, this punchy new scent is like a cousin to its predecessor; with a woody based of frankincense and vetiver holding up lush heart notes of rosemary and lavender.

Snapshot: ’Bird on 5th Avenue, New York 2020’ by Phil Penman
Acclaimed street photographer Phil Penman is currently selling an exhibition of his evocative, monochromatic work at the Leica Gallery London. The show, titled ‘STREET’, features 16 limited edition prints captured over two decades in New York City. Our particular favourite — ‘Bird on 5th Avenue, New York 2020’ — is available in a limited edition of three prints, and shows Manhattan in all its hazy, crazy glory.
Button it: Percival Pablo Knitted Shirt
Last week, Percival Menswear announced that it had secured a new £3 million investment. But we’re not surprised. Over the last few years, the Hackney-based brand has become one of our firm, fashionable favourites — offering vintage-tinged spins on modern menswear. Take this ‘Pablo’ knitted shirt, for example. Crafted from 100% cotton, fitted with poppers and detailed with subtly contrasting stripes, it’s a retro treat for summer.
Power up: Viritech Apricale Hydrogen Hypercar
This is an exciting one. Viritech’s ‘Apricale’ is a bad name for a very good vehicle. The world’s first hydrogen-powered hypercar, this British-built road racer will be limited to just 25 models — and will have a driving range in excess of 800 kilometres. Worried about highly-combustible hydrogen as a fuel source? No need to fret — the car uses a graphene-reinforced composite pressure vessel to keep motorists safe.
Sweet and Swedish: Mackmyra Björksav Single Malt Whisky
Try to pronounce it. We dare you. The new single malt whisky from Swedish distillery Mackmyra, ‘Björksav’ — it means ‘birch sap’ — is a floral spirit with a fresh spiciness and sweet notes of vanilla fudge. It may be hard to get your tongue around, but it’s a pleasure to sip; expect green apples, lemongrass and peach — with a softly toasted cedar finish tempered with rich, candied greengages.
Pot the black: IXO x Bugatti Pool Table
It’s a struggle we’ve all undoubtedly dealt with: trying to play pool aboard our superyachts. With the pitch and roll of the waves, precise potting has been all but impossible — until now.
