Editor’s Picks: Football Table, Roulette Wheel and Biodynamic Whisky
From a pair of Edward Green summer loafers to a one-off Tudor Black Bay GMT, this is what we want this week…
We just had to kick things off with a football table. With all the England flags and earnest chants going around, how could we not get in on the action — in the most luxurious, leather-clad, crystal-glass way we know how?
And the rest of this week’s Editor’s Picks are equally opulent. From Rolls-Royce’s latest limited edition to a roulette wheel with a touch of 007 about it, there’s something for every high-flying, high-rolling modern man to admire. Take a look…
Speed up: Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith ‘Land Speed Collection’
Inspired by the late Captain George Eyston — who broke the land-speed record three times with a couple of Rolls-Royce aero engines — the British carmaker has rolled out its new ‘Landspeed Collection’. Our favourite? The Wraith Black Badge, with a diamond metallic two-tone finish, over 600 horsepower and a starlight headliner that recreates the sky above the Bonneville Salt Flats on 16 September 1938.
All on red: Cammegh 007 Collector’s Edition Roulette Wheel
Spun into being by Cammegh — perhaps the finest roulette wheel craftsmen in the world — this half-size James Bond Collector’s Edition is a gambler’s dream. It’s identical, in all but size, to the Cammegh wheels used by the globe’s most revered, respected casinos — and features the ‘007′ logo in place of lucky number seven.

Zip it: Drake’s Caramel Suede A-2 Bomber Jacket
Suede in summer? Trust us. Drake’s caramel-coloured A-2 bomber jacket may have some heft to it, but the British brand’s take on the traditional style is perfect for your year-round wardrobe. It’s got plenty of pockets, ribbed cuffs — and subtle contrast stitching that makes it the ideal piece of outerwear for a capsule style collection.

Dram roll: Waterford ‘Luna’ Biodynamic Whisky
This is the world’s first biodynamic whisky. What does that mean, we hear you ask? In short, it means that the Waterford Distillery have created a sustainable spirit; made using dynamic practices including replacing machine ploughing with horses, recycling waste as fertiliser and planting barley in line with natural lunar cycles. Allegedly, it will increase the intensity of the resulting whisky’s flavour. We await a tasting.
Tools of the trade: Andrew McAteer Leather Tool Box
This charming, handsome tool box sits at the tricky intersection of ‘practical’ and ‘beautiful’. Designed by Andrew McAteer and cut from premium vegetable-tanned leather, it has been waxed, dyed and finished by hand — before being fitted together with solid brass fasteners and rivets. Your screwdrivers never had it so good.

Slip-on: Edward Green Piccadilly Unlined Loafers
Summer is the season of slip-on shoes. And loafers don’t get more stylish than Edward Green’s ‘Piccadilly’ design. Thankfully, just in time for the warmer weather, the British shoemaker has revitalised its signature penny loafer with this unlined edition. Chic yet relaxed, it’s the ideal smart-casual shoe for our ever-evolving wardrobes.

Turn back time: Tudor Black Bay GMT One
Every year, the world’s biggest and best watchmakers created one-off luxury timepieces to be auctioned off for charity. For 2021, Tudor has announced an aged metal version of its Black Bay GMT. Satin-finished and stainless steel, the technique used to create the effect is being kept tightly under wraps by the Swiss watchmaker. Hopefully that means we’ll be seeing a little more of the look in a less limited collection…
On the horn: Huntsman Stag Antler Shoe Horn
The Savile Row suit-maker isn’t all about tailoring. Huntsman’s home range is stuffed to its tweedy seams with brilliant accessories and practical products. Case in point; this excellently ergonomic shoe horn. With a handle hewn from stag antler, the blade of this striking shoe horn can be engraved or monogrammed on demand.

From the philanthropic LOVE BRAND & Co, the ‘Abaco’ shirt is cut from light linen and has long sleeves and a classic collar. It’s a do-anything, wear-anywhere kind of shirt — and will be your best friend all summer long.
