DIARY – AQUASCUTUM & THE GENTLEMAN’S JOURNAL

Last night, the luxury British brand Aquascutum made their mark on the iconic Jermyn Street, launching their new menswear only store on the famous street and they certainly opened things with a bang.

The great and good of British acting turned up in their droves, BAFTA nominated Luke Newberry, Downton Abbey’s Ed Speleers, James Norton and Jack Fox had the girls attention for the duration of the evening, that was until male super model Oliver Cheshire arrived!

Guests enjoyed British Nyetimber sparkling wine and delicious summer Chase Vodka cocktails, along with traditional British cucumber sandwiches and chocolate brownies. Even Aston Martin got in on the show, displaying the beautiful Vanquish Volante outside the store. As guests flicked through the latest addition of The Gentleman’s Journal with Ed Speleers on the cover, Zara Martin and Jack Guinness were spotted chatting inside, whilst Natt Weller and Morgan Watkins posed for photographers.

As guests reluctantly spilled out onto Jermyn Street at the end of the night, most continued the frivolities at nearby Mayfair haunts. All in all, a brilliantly British time was had by all!
