Past masters: Aberlour Whisky x Charlie Borrow

A highlight of London Craft Week running from 8th-14th May is an exciting collaboration between Aberlour Whisky and leathersmith and luggage maker Charlie Borrow. For one week only, both brands will be collaborating to create an intimate speakeasy bar experience in the hidden basement of Charlie’s leather smith workshop, usually a member’s club. Leather wallet making workshops will be taking place in Charlie’s workshop.

Picture Perfect: Will Martyr exhibition at Maddox Gallery

Maddox Gallery is presenting A World Elsewhere, an exhibition of paintings by British artist Will Martyr being showcased until 11th June. Reflecting on themes of companionship, love and contentment, the artworks are snapshots of Martyr’s personal memories merged to create a sense of timeless nostalgia. He cites David Hockney’s depictions of water, the enigmatic paintings of Wayne Thiebaud and the figurative artist Alex Katz as inspirations for his work.
