The Anti-Social Networking App to Avoid People You Don’t Like
Words: Violet

Never want the awkwardness or running into an ex-girlfriend or person you don’t like ever again? Well now there is an app to do just that. Using location data from Instagram and Foursquare, the new IOS app Cloak allows you to see where people are according to where they are checking in or locations tagged photos.
Referring to itself as the “incognito mode for real life” and “the anti-social network”, Cloak works by showing a map with the people you follow on Instagram and Foursquare and showing their face on the map when they have tagged in somewhere. Their face will fade after four hours as it is then likely that they have moved location. Cloak also allows you to get instant alerts when people’s locations come within a certain distance of your own.
Obviously there are certain social networks that are not yet included but Cloak have described that as they grow they will seek to include location data from Facebook and other platforms.
This is a free app, for more information visit Cloak
