About last night: Coutts and Henry Poole celebrate 200 years of shared history
Last night, Coutts and Henry Poole partnered with Land Rover and Gentleman’s Journal to celebrate 200 years of shared history between the private bank and the esteemed Savile Row tailor.

The three iconic British brands invited guests from across the worlds of business, style, design, society and entertainment to Coutts’s headquarters on the Strand. Here, a landmark new publication — Henry Poole & Co: The First Tailors of Savile Row — was unveiled.
HRH Princess Anne, a guest of Henry Poole & Co., was presented with a personally-dedicated copy of the new book, with a foreword by company director and Poole family descendant Simon Cundey.

Guests enjoyed confit duck rillettes on brioche alongside harissa spiced butterfly prawns and Ayala Brut ‘Majeure’ champagne — not to mention an unveiling of Land Rover’s recently launched new Defender.
Attendees included HRH Princess Anne, H.E. Mansoor Abulhoul, Lady Alice and Lady Eliza Manners, Craig McGinlay, Daisy Knatchbull, David Gandy, Paul Sculfor, Perry Pearson, Tara Ferry, Lady Tatiana Mountbatten, Tess Ward, Jemima Cadbury, and Mathias LeFevre.
