That is, if our bank accounts were as big as their square footage.

The ultra-luxe building has a host of amenities such as a fitness centre, an in-house spa and an around the clock doorman service, but there is also a private club and your very own 70 foot long rooftop pool which means you could throw a spectacular party on your doorstep. At 12,516 square foot and with 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, there would also be plenty of room for your friends to crash once all the fun is over.

Built at a soaring 1,396 feet above New York City, the property features everything from 10 foot windows, access to a special climate controlled wine cellar, and 30,000 square feet of space to do whatever you wish. Of course, none of this comes without a hefty price tag, with the space having already been sold for an eye watering $95 million. However don’t dash your buyers hopes quite yet gentlemen – if you’ve still got $17.5 million to spare then there are other apartments to acquire in the building with equally amazing views.

You could certainly escape the noise and stress of the London rat race with this penthouse in the Heron Tower. Boasting a landscaped garden terrace and state-of-the-art cinema room, you won’t be short of space to relax, and resting up will definitely be on the agenda once you step into the property’s master bedroom. With triple aspect view windows showing off the capital’s skyline, you could have a lie-in like no other…at the price tag of a casual £15 million.

It’s difficult not to associate Los Angeles with high-end glamour, and the penthouse suite at LA’s The Line Hotel certainly promises no less. With floor to ceiling windows allowing a view of the Hollywood Hills, and quirky interior design, this would be a perfect permanent residence for a gentleman that appreciates opulence but with a cool, downtown edge. Unfortunately, it’s not available for sale, but at around $500 dollars a night to stay, the penthouse experience isn’t too far out of reach.

The $18,000 nightly rent fee buys you a 2-floor circular library, a billiards room completely decorated in Persian tiles, and even a grand piano. That’s all on top of having an outdoor terrace with stunning sweeping views of the city, and even a ‘secret’ passageway. This space also has 3 large bedrooms, but who would needs other guests when there’s so much to do?
