Knock on wood with a classic, conservative bar cart
If you’re a cigar-smoking, desk globe-spinning, pen-and-paper sort of guy, then you’ll likely want a bar cart crafted from rustic, reliable wood. The most classic and conservative choice, these tough trolleys are as refined as they are understated — and will bring a touch of the mid-century to your home office.
This handsome Exeter Serving Cart from Borough Wharf is equipped with three tiers, glass racks and even a wire frame to keep your four favourite bottles within easy reach. Alternatively, West Elm’s slightly simpler Mid-Century Bar Cart recalls the clean-lined aesthetic of the 1950s and ‘60s. But our favourite? A trolley with an industrial feel will keep things grounded
It’s not the sixties anymore — so some co-workers may react a little unfavourably to you wheeling a bar cart into the background of your next Zoom call.
