South Westerly: The British Campaign

A celebration of British summer style, captured in Salcombe with relaxed tailoring, refined knitwear and versatile coastal essentials.

There is a particular charm to summer on Britain's south-west coast. It isn't defined by endless blue skies or relentless heat, but by something altogether more characterful: mornings that begin beneath soft cloud before giving way to golden afternoons, salt carried on the breeze, harbour walls warmed by the afternoon sun and evenings that call for another layer as boats drift gently back to shore.

It is this effortless rhythm that inspired our latest fashion story. Set against the backdrop of Salcombe's winding estuary, secluded beaches and weathered waterfront, we've brought together a considered edit of the season's most versatile pieces from some of our favourite brands. Lightweight knitwear, relaxed shirting, softly tailored separates and refined coastal staples come together to create a wardrobe that feels as comfortable on the deck of a Boston Whaler as it does over a long lunch in a secluded cove along the estuary.

British summer style is about dressing for wherever the day takes you. A cable-knit pulled over the shoulders as the breeze picks up, linen that softens with every wear, suede loafers replacing bare feet as the sun begins to dip below the horizon. These are clothes designed to be lived in, growing better with every journey, every harbour and every late summer evening.

Our British campaign is proof that some of the season's finest style is found not beneath Mediterranean skies, but along Britain's own remarkable coastline.
