The house unfolds beautifully into its natural surroundings, while the suntrap courtyard carries the easy charm of an Italian piazza, bordered by a rose lawn that promises long afternoons with spritzes or rosé in hand, accompanied by a good book or an even better conversation. As daylight begins to fade, the sunken garden, centred around its glowing fire pit, becomes the obvious place to gather, where marshmallows are roasted, warm blankets are welcomed and stories continue long into the evening. It becomes surprisingly difficult to retreat indoors as the estate settles into the gentle sounds of nature and the soft trickle of the fountain becomes all the more noticeable.
