The Top 5 Classic Cars to Invest In

We said it before and we will say it again, when it comes to investing, classic cars are an absolute winner. The demand for vintage cars is rising and has seen a 430% rise (according to Knight Frank’s Luxury Investment Index) in value over the past 10 years. Last year, a 1954 Mercedes-Benz was sold for $29.6million – the largest amount ever for a car at a public auction.

What’s more, investing in classic cars will quickly become a passion project as well. “The autobody of the coupe required the hand of a real gentleman to steer it, the missing b-pillar and small window posts accentuate its lightweight but conceal, as in the case of a true gentleman, what is hidden beneath the sheet metal tuxedo.”

Built between 1971 and 1975, the 3.0 CSl was modelled off the hugely successful 2000 CS coupe and was for many a symbol of prestige. Its 3.0 litre engine, Dosch D-Jetronic fuel injection and 200 horsepower at 5,500 rpms per minute cover everything you can need on the inside and the stylish and elegant visuals make this model an all round winner.
