Soaked in Bleach: Was Kurt Cobain’s death really a suicide?

You may not have realised but last Saturday saw anniversary of the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. This Tuesday saw the released of a controversial docudrama examining whether his death was actually a suicide. The film includes interviews with witnesses and experts offering their opinion on the death that was officially ruled as suicide but has sparked many conspiracy theories claiming otherwise. The film is narrated by former detective Tom Grant who was hired by Courtney Love to find her husband Cobain when he went missing. He was found dead in their Seattle home just days later. Whether there is any truth to it or not (the theories have been repeatedly quashed), from the trailer it looks to be a pretty gripping film.

The Heartbleed Bug: The Passwords You need to Change

We hear about potential bugs on the internet all the time but sometimes it is hard to know how seriously to take it and how much it will effect us. This new encryption flaw, Heartbleed bug, is being named as potentially one of the biggest security threats the internet has ever seen. This week, security researchers announced there has been a security flaw in OpenSSL, a data encryption standard that enables in the know hackers to access and extract huge amounts of information and data from services we all use and assume are secure (this includes credit card numbers and passwords).
