New Balance 565 Suede and Leather Trainers

New Balance was launched in 1906 when a waiter in Boston, Mr William Riley, developed arch supports for people who worked on their feet all day. By 1928, Mr Riley had developed his first running shoe, and from there New Balance has grown into a global footwear phenomenon. Today this cult american footwear is still renowned for its high-performance trainers that don’t compromise on style. This limited edition celebrates 30 years of manufacturing in the UK and features a tartan textile lined inner, the unique cushioned sole and gold lace plates.

Diary – Raffles Winter Wonderland

Raffles Members club was in full festive swing last night. Toasting the opening of Winter Wonderland they threw an after party with a dress code of Christmas jumpers. Archie Norman and Charlie Laurie took to the decks remixing some old school classics, while Arabella Holland, Alexandra Townsend-Rose and Jemima Cadbury came up with their own dance routine…… all we can say is very interesting. Made in Chelsea’s Richard Dinan chatted away to club owner Sachin Khanna and Toby Speak, Sam Biker and Harry De La Rue kept the drinks flowing from their table in the corner. Golly what festive fun and it’s still only November!

THE CAMERA – 645D PENTAX

As the manufacturer’s first foray into the digital medium format arena, the Pentax 645D brings plenty of appealing features to the game, including a 40MP, 44 x 33mm, Kodak-developed CCD sensor that’s designed to deliver professional image quality exceeding that of a 35mm full-frame DSLR. With a nod to Pentax’s original medium format film 645 camera system, the new digital SLR version looks and feels every bit as solid as its well-respected 1980s-born ancestor, sporting a similarly intuitive design. The Pentax 645D’s headline feature is its 40MP CCD sensor: measuring 44 x 33mm, images reach a top resolution of 7264 x 5440 pixels, giving plenty of scope for some pretty severe cropping if necessary, as well as extremely high-quality large format printing options.
