Polestar enthüllt drei kompromisslose, actiongeladene Arctic-Circle-Fahrzeuge

Diese Reihe wintertauglicher Fahrzeuge soll „schwedische Performance-DNA“ verkörpern und wurde dafür im Rallye-Stil aufbereitet.

Polestar, the Swedish EV maker, is celebrated for its clean lines and elegant forms – design sensibilities synonymous with Scandinavian style. In its most recent move, the marque has also leaned into another element heavily associated with the region: the great outdoors. Announced in recent days, Polestar has revealed a trio of Arctic Circle cars that are intended to ‘showcase Swedish performance DNA’ – an idea originally realised in 2022, when the label applied a special formula to its Polestar 2, and has now expanded to Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.

Das Ergebnis ist eine Reihe rallyeinspirierter Einzelanfertigungen, die in einer der schwedischen Forschungs- und Entwicklungseinrichtungen von Polestar entstanden sind. Zur Grundausstattung gehören spezielle Pirelli-Spikereifen, eine erhöhte Bodenfreiheit mit maßgefertigten, dreifach verstellbaren Öhlins-Dämpfern, rallyeinspirierte Schmutzfänger, neue Quad-Evo-Zusatzscheinwerfer von Stedi sowie Schalensitze von Recaro. Während Polestar 2 und Polestar 3 mit Thule WingBar Edge-Dachträgern ausgestattet sind, verfügt der Polestar 4 über spezielle Skihalterungen. Der Polestar 3 wird außerdem mit einer Fiskars SnowXpert-Schneeschaufel und Anfahrhilfen für Schnee geliefert.

Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller said: “The Arctic Circle collection illustrates our unique performance DNA, rooted in motorsport and combined with Scandinavian design. We develop our cars under challenging conditions within the Arctic Circle in Sweden, and at the FAT Ice Race [where the cars made their public debut, on 1 February] we will showcase that on ice there is nothing better than a Polestar.”
