Former Danish ballet-dancer-cum-choreographer Alexander Kølpin has recently been channelling his creative energies into the hospitality industry, and just last month he cut the ribbons to Copenhagen’s Hotel Sanders. Inspired by the golden age of travel, this 54-room Neoclassical Jugendstil building is kitted with mid-modern Danish furnishings and artworks commissioned by Dais Contemporary. Moreover, thanks to its five bars and eateries – including a classic theatre-inspired cocktail room – you may end up never leaving this wonderful Dansk hotspot.
