It’s a strange thought – Ryan Gosling, Meryl Streep and George Clooney rummaging excitedly through a bag of freebies. Yet, every year, that’s what happens – as the Oscars see a goodie bag worth thousands of pounds given to each nominee and presenter.
In 2016, the cream of Hollywood received a whole host of gifts – including everything from a fabulously mundane chapstick to a once-in-a-lifetime $54,000 walking tour of Japan. So, with big shoes – or should that be goodie bags? – to fill, we turn our attention to what will be lurking in the Oscar gift bags of 2017. This year’s selection is looking as weird and wonderful and as random, as ever – so here are our pick of the best.
