Wilderness 2025: Discover what's new this year

From a new hotspot where you'll catch the best of the UKs live music scene to a zodiac-inspired wine tasting

Wilderness has been thrilling festival goers since its debut in 2011. But just when you think it has reached its peak and simply cannot get any better, the four-day event, set in the bucolic Oxfordshire countryside, shakes things up with new venues and events.

This year sees the introduction of a new after-dark venue dedicated for live music lovers. 'The Dive' is home to underground, alternative music, and draws its grunge aesthetic from infamous venues across the UK such as Lafayette, The Slaughtered Lamb and King Tuts Wah Wah.

The Dive will play host to the very best in up-and-coming artists – including the likes of The Howlers, Night Tapes, Welly, Juju and Mary in the Junkyard, with the programme an homage to the best of the UKs live music scene. Be sure to factor a night of indie tunes into your Wildnerness schedule.

Also new for this year is Hacienda 1942 by Don Julio. Inspired by the effortless elegance of a Mexican beach club, the space is infused with warmth, rhythm and soul. Expect carefully curated DJ sets from artists like Ella Knight, Mary Charteris and PBR Streetgang; as well as delicious signature cocktails like the Blanco Margarita, Reposado Paloma, Manzana 42, Rosado Fresca, and Spice Panoma – which showcase the versatility of Don Julio Tequila.

Once you've worn yourself out with all that dancing, make your way over to the Wandering Wild Sauna, which offers a restorative escape from the chaotic and creative energy of the festival. Slow down, sweat it out and return to the action feeling completely rejuvenated.

Finally, what's Wilderness Festival without a dash of woo woo? Lean into it with a zodiac-inspired wine tasting that features a series of wines to match four signs with attitude – bold Leo, chaotic Gemini, sharp Scorpio and effortlessly cool Libra. It's hosted at the Wine Bar by LOR (Ladies of Restaurants), where you'll find great wine and even better vibes all throughout the day and night.
