Tom Ford’s insane New Mexico ranch is on the market for $75 million

A gentleman can dream...

Fashion designer Tom Ford’s stunning Cerro Pelon Ranch could be yours – if you’ve got a hefty $75 million in the bank, that is.

$75 million is an insane number, we’ll grant you that. But this is no ordinary house. The stunning ranch sits in the middle of the desert in Galiesteo Basin in New Mexico, just outside Santa Fe. The sprawling estate covers 20,662 acres of land and the property was designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. It also includes a stable and two riding rings, as well as a reflecting pool that spans the width of the house, a tennis court, two guest houses, accommodation for both staff and ranch hands and a home and separate office building for the ranch manager.

Famous in its own right without the Tom Ford connection, the ranch houses Silverado Movie Town, an Old Western movie set built for the 1985 film Silverado and Wild Wild West, amongst other famous Westerns.

While we appreciate that this is a property that most of us can only dream of owning, it’s still worth a look, right?
