The superyacht launches to look out for this summer

Champagne at the ready, these smashing boats are hitting the water

With a long, hot summer stretching out ahead of us, there is no place many modern men would like to be as much as on the sundeck of a glorious new yacht – sparkling new in the sparkling water. But, if you’re prone to a little office day-dreaming, which new vessels should be sailing into mind?

This CRN superyacht lives up to its namesake. With accommodation for up to 16 guests, a private owner’s deck and superyacht beach club – complete with extendable bathing platform – this vessel, complete with palatial Winch-designed interiors, is heavenly.

73 metres of sheer class, Feadship’s Hasna blends a variety of home-from-home entertainment within a timelessly sculptured exterior. A suave, beach-chic feel was created alongside RWD, and the results will leave you unrivalled as the coolest at sea.

No, not the insurance company. Rather, a four deck displacement yacht from Abeking & Rasmussen. Boasting exterior styling by Reymond Langton Design, this 98-metre vessel is also the largest this studio has worked on – and is characterised by its hull in a vibrant blue tone.

The teak-decked New Secret, built by Amels in the Netherlands, offers the pinnacle of luxury yachting experiences. With the ability to carry almost twice as many crew as guests – a sign of decadence below decks – she may not be the fastest yacht on the water, but she’s up there with the most grand.

Despite its name, Lurssen’s Thunder is remarkably still and calm – thanks to pioneering ‘zero speed stabilisers’ and an aluminium superstructure. And, with a tender garage, massage room, movie theatre and helicopter landing pad, this is the perfect floating summer base.

From Oceanco, this is the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands. As we write this, she is just finishing her final stages of extensive sea trials and is ready to launch. With five luxurious decks on board, a top speed of 18.5 knots and a huge 15 cabins, this is quite the boat for entertaining on this summer.
