Step aboard superyacht Grace for an elegant voyage

We take a look at the 52.3m-long wonder that’s become one of the world’s favourite vessels...

What’s in a name? Well, when it comes to this 52.30m superyacht now being offered for the very first time on the brokerage market — the answer is ‘quite a lot’.

Grace, the extraordinary vessel delivered in 2009 by Amels shipyard, lives up to her namesake in everything from her elegant interior designed by Nuvolari Lenard Studio, to the effortless grace of her movement on the waves. Her regal proportions and design have even rendered her the world’s best-selling 55-metre superyacht since 2007.

In their design of Grace, Tim Heywood have recognised the importance of allowing for a substantial amount of outdoor space. From the generous swim platform and garage, to the main deck and its large lounge seating area (featuring custom-made furniture by Metrica), your first steps on board strike a note of understated glamour which you can expect to find throughout.

As if that wasn’t enough, The Bridge deck offers another option for outdoor relaxation, with an opulent lounge and bespoke dining area, ready to cater for up to 10 guests. Passengers can also climb another flight of stairs to drink in the sunset onboard the panoramic Sun Deck, which features its own Jacuzzi, bar and (yet another) table and space for al-fresco dining.

Operating on the maxim that it’s what’s on the inside that counts, interior designers Nuvolari Lenard Studio have created a space suitably opulent for this beautiful superyacht. Lavish, rich dark colours are reflected by wengé wood and dark leather, with lighter colours accentuated by white oak, alcantara fabric and light capria leather.

Grace houses 6 guest cabins, including a large en-suite master bedroom which features a fully operational office space; a double en-suite guest cabin on the main deck; plus four guests cabins on the lower deck.

Throughout the vessel, there are also a range of plush spaces to relax and get cosy — including the Bridge deck salon, which comes fully fitted with a projector and cinema screen. All this, alongside Grace’s enviable array of water sports equipment, and space for a crew of 13, render her one of the most desirable yachts on the waves right now.
