From Samsung's latest QLED TVs to the only travel luggage you need, this is the coolest gear in the world right now

Invest in some new wristwear: Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph

The Bathyscaphe was made in the Fifties in order to provide horology aficionados with a genuine diver’s instrument that could also be sported on a daily basis. As a result, it’s often thought to be the original modern dive watch. This legendary timepiece was revamped in 2013, and more recently it’s been given a self-winding F385 movement featuring a flyback chronograph function that lets the wearer reset and instantly restart the watch by pressing the pusher at 4 o’clock. Additionally, it beats at a rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour, is water resistant to 300m and has a clean dial aesthetic that’s free of numerals.

Change the way you travel: Away Aluminium Edition luggage

Cult luggage maker Away has just dropped its latest collection; and it’s an essential for the business-man on-the-go. The aluminium shell is guaranteed to last a lifetime, while the ejectable battery can charge your smartphone up to five times, so you can email and Instagram to your heart’s content in the airport. Moreover, the Hinomoto wheels make for a smooth ride through the first-class lounge, and, better still, it comes at a fraction of the price of a Rimowa without shirking on quality.

Rev your engines: restored Honda CB650

Born at the end of the Seventies, the Honda CB650 has been forgotten in recent decades. However, thanks to Stockholm-based Black Lanes, this two-wheeler is generating interest once again. Revamped and refurbished, the CB650 is painted in all-black and has been treated to a fully restored inline four engine and a Yamaha XS400 tank. Moreover, the expertly-crafted walnut base adds a natural aesthetic to the bike, and the leather seat by Sanqvist will make riding an absolute dream.

Turn up the volume: Bang & Olufsen SS18 collection

Inspired by an oceanic palette, the latest collection from Bang & Olufsen comes in three spring-friendly colourways: aloe, steel blue and teal. Within the range are the H4 wireless headphones, but the real must-haves are the Beoplay P2 and the Beoplay A1, both of which slip seamlessly into your holdall (but still pack a punch despite their bijou size). For the ultimate barbecue or beach speakers, look no further.

Revamp your grooming game: Angle Razor

With the world running at supersonic speeds, there’s something to be said about slow-paced rituals such as wet shaving. And this ‘Angle Razor’ – a Kickstarter product by Morrama – is set to give you a closer cut in the most stylish way possible. It’s crafted with a slight bend in the middle to give you an unobstructed view in the mirror, and the aluminium body is designed to prevent oxidisation. There’s also an expertly-crafted razor stand that comes with it, and because it uses single blades, you’ll be shelling out far less cash than you would be on multi-blade cartridges.

Treat yourself: Samsung QLED 4K TVs 2018

Although Samsung’s 2018 QLED TVs are fuss-free in design and have integrated Bixby – the company’s virtual assistant – it’s really the chameleon-like feature that impresses us most. When any one of the displays is set to “Ambient Mode” (a low-power state that can show the weather and news and also play music) it possesses the ability to mimic the pattern of the wall behind it, making it seem as though the screen has blended in seamlessly into your abode. For the minimalist out there, make this your next living room purchase.

Mix up your footwear: The new Common Projects range

Looking to retire those heavy-duty winter boots for a few months? If so, you’ll need something to see you through the warmer seasons, and few options can trump Common Projects’ spring range which features new silhouettes and pastel hues. In keeping with the house’s signature style, the new sneakers are minimalistic and logo-less, so they’re the ideal foundation from which to build an ensemble.

Head to the Nordics: Hotel Sanders

Blending five-star opulence with a relaxed, hygge ambience, Hotel Sanders sure knows how to make a traveller feel at home. Inside you’ll be hit with low-lit spaces and colonial-cum-mid-Modern furnishings, and each room comes with complimentary minibars (a big win in our eyes). The charming conservatory bar that’s full of charm and warmth is worth the trip to Copenhagen alone.
