How to do London Cocktail Week in style, with a little help from Grey Goose

Five events, and a much welcome collaboration, not to miss at this week’s spirit-infused festival

A hearty shake here, a stir of ice cubes in fine glassware there – it’s the cacophonous sound of London Cocktail Week in full swing.

Taking place in the capital this week, over seven nights of refined hedonism, a highlight of the event comes courtesy of perhaps the world’s most celebrated vodka brand, Grey Goose.

The return of a special flavour

Making a much welcome return for the event is La Vanille. Comprised of the same soft winter wheat from Picardy and spring water from Gensac-La-Pallue, used in every Grey Goose vodka, it is then blended with vanilla harvested in Madagascar.

The result: bold caramelised and toffee notes, that perfectly complement the finest coffee, ready for you – or better still, the bartender – to create the ultimate twist on an Espresso Martini cocktail.

And so to the party

For those wanting to try, or indeed rekindle a love with, La Vanille, head to Barber & Parlour on London’s Redchurch Street.

From 3pm every day till Sunday 7th, you’ll find the Grey Goose Café La Vanille pop-up where you can sample complimentary Espresso Martinis, to a soundtrack provided by the resident DJ.

Connoisseurs of the fine French spirit – dare we say it, like ourselves – will be pleased to see a plethora of other Grey Goose events taking place over the week, including a collaboration with St-Germain elderflower liqueur.

And a wall of flowers (1000 of them, which is how many go into every bottle of St Germain) for anyone looking for that perfect Instagram opportunity. Bottoms up and let those heart notifications roll in.
