Each week we present to you some of the best products on the planet. Whether it’s deck appropriate footwear or Tracksmith’s latest collaboration, these are the items that you need to shake up your lifestyle for the better...
Pal Zileri Silk and Cashmere Polo Shirt

We make no secret of our love of a fine knitted polo shirt. While the original cotton mesh iteration remains a classic, a knitted construction pleasantly elevates the garment, making it the perfect day-to-night piece for warmer climes. This eye-catching red model from Pal Zileri is no exception, and its four-button design suits those favouring a relaxed, open collar look.
Crockett & Jones Bidbury Chukka Boot

While we tend to think of boots for the wintertime, the chukka (or desert) boot has been an understated summer staple for decades. The boot style of choice for the ‘Cooler King’ himself, Steve McQueen, the style is a harmonious blending of a casual boot and traditional shoe, and this adaptation from Crockett & Jones moves effortlessly from dressed down occasions to semi-formal settings. Made from Last 378, the pale suede finish and rubber gum sole pairs fantastically with light denim or a beige chino.
Breners of London ‘Pull the Pin’ Hip Flask

Though a standard, monogrammed number will always be the traditionalists favourite, anyone looking to add some explosive individuality to their hipflask game can safely halt their search at Breners of London. The aptly named ‘Pull the Pin’ hip flask is constructed of sterling silver and features a functioning pin and spoon mechanism for added realism (just remember to keep a firm grip once the pin is pulled!)
Lochlea Cask Strength - Batch 3 Whisky

The first sherry and peat combination from the renowned farm-to-cask brand, Batch 3 from Lochlea Distillery marks a bold evolution in their annual Cask Strength Series. A creative fusion of rich Oloroso sherry with distinctive Islay peat, Batch 3 marks Master Blender Jill Boyd’s first concept-to-bottle curation and offers a full-bodied dram with notes of red berries and treacle, before tailing off with baking spice and Islay smoke.
Équipement De Vie Lemieux Elite Sneakers

The yachtsman’s footwear of choice, Équipement De Vie has built an enviable reputation for designing and crafting the most elite sailing footwear on the market. Built primarily to function on the high seas, but (we suspect) with the secret sartorialist in mind, the brand’s Lemieux Elite sneakers feature anti-slip and anti-mark soles, toe protection and a winch button heel pad in addition to cutting a sleek, smart casual silhouette that takes the wearer comfortably from desk to deck.
Tracksmith X Rowing Blazers Banker Bag

The Wolf of Wall Street was merely a cub when the traditional banker bag rose to prominence, and it has been a consistent Midtown gym locker inhabitant and marker of finance culture ever since. Iconic in its shape and construction, this latest collaboration from preppy outfitters, Rowing Blazers, and chic running apparel aficionados, Tracksmith, is a clear homage to the original style, but featuring the iconic motifs of both brands. Namely Rowing Blazers’ signature zig-zag pattern on the strap, and Tracksmith’s spry hare on the main body.
Textron Aviation Cessna Citation Latitude

A leader in private aviation comfort and the best-selling midsize business jet, the Cessna Citation Latitude sets the bar for luxury travel. With a nine-person capacity and 5000km range, the Citation Latitude offers a flight experience without parallel, and the merging of intelligent innovation and timeless style sets this jet apart. The nextgen-capable flight deck and customisable cabin controls ensure pilot and passengers have the ultimate in-flight toolkit, and the flat floor and six-foot stand-up cabin allows for a comfortable ride every time.
Dior Sauvage Gift Set

For those whose homepage is lastminute.com (the metaphorical site for the unprepared, not the actual booking site), and are late to realise that it’s Father’s Day this weekend, Dior is thankfully on hand. While steering dad away from the same fragrance he’s worn his entire life can be a little tricky, a simple upgrade to his moisturising routine is an easier undertaking. This gift set includes Dior’s Sauvage Serum, to deeply moisturise and reduce aging, and the Sauvage Toner to soothe the skin and diminish signs of fatigue – a useful and deceptively well-thought-out gift.
Fendi Blouson

Made of soft, grained leather, this blouson from Italian fashion powerhouse, Fendi, is miraculously unassuming whilst also being a statement piece. Constructed of deer leather, with a cupro lining, this garment’s charm lies in the subtle details, including the elasticated edge, breast pocket, press-stud fastenings and Fendi patch on the rear neck. The beige finishing has it pair neatly with summer ensembles both formal and casual.
Richard Mille - The Impossible Collection

Once the disruptive ‘new kid on the block,’ now one of the world’s most highly prized watch brands, Richard Mille has accomplished rather a lot in its near 25-year history. The brand has moved the dial on contemporary horology and it’s meteoric rise by utilising new materials and concepts and leveraging strategic sporting partnerships is something to be studied. Assouline and Fabienne Reybaud seemingly agree, and The Impossible Collection is an in-depth look at the brands’ history and renowned pieces. Much like an RM watch, no detail has been overlooked, and the book’s cover and clamshell are fabricated in a textured rubber reminiscent of a Richard Mille watch band.
Zacal Ensamble Mezcal

While the initial mezcal blast has been contained, we are still encountering some intriguing brands in the fallout. One such brand, Zacal, does things a little differently in crafting their liquid in Michoacán, Mexico, which offers a smoother, artisanal drop as an alternative to the smoky mezcals that we often see from Oaxaca. Their Ensamble iteration, a combination of the semi-wild Manso Sahuayo maguey with the wild Bruto maguey, is a merging of both smooth and bold flavour profiles, with an earthy and herbaceous finish.
