As penthouses go, this one’s got to be up there. It might not be a Harvey Specter styled floor-to-ceiling home filled with expensive whiskey and rare records, but it’s unique in its own right. The SP penthouse sits strong in Sao Paulo, with remarkable views across the entire city. Recently completed by architects Studio MK27, a project led specifically by Marcio Kogan, Diana Radomysler and Luciana Antunes, the beauty is split across three different floors, with each floor possessing a different function.
On the first floor, you’ve got the bathroom and the bedrooms, the second has the kitchen, office, dining space, and the vast living room, and the most unique part of the home comes is on the third floor, which is home to a huge double-height library with an enormous number of shelves, as well as a spa with covered pool, gym, and garden.
Everything about this home is unique. From the custom, in-built furniture to the views, it’s different to anything we’ve seen before. The rooms are vast, and the corridors so much so that each one is used for art exhibitions and installations, from people such as Hugo França, Hans Wegner, Franco Albini, and Gio Ponti, among others, for the owner to put on. The architects’ initial brief was to create a cosy, inspirational and museum-like home – and they’ve done just that.
The interior decoration is as exotic and the home’s location, and a variety of different sources have inspired this wonderful property. With pieces coming from Italy, Scandinavia and the architect’s homeland of Brazil, there’s something there to suit everyones taste. Pure luxury is also at the heart centre of the design, which is made immediately obvious by the unbeatable views throughout this three-storey home. Pure luxury doesn’t get much better than this, gentlemen, and we can safely say that this insane penthouse just rose to the top of our dream property portfolio.
