With (RED), the luxury spirit brand is raising awareness for HIV

Belvedere Vodka have long been passionate supporters of the fight against AIDS.

In partnership with (RED), a brand involved with engaging the private sector with raising awareness for HIV, the world’s original luxury vodka have launched a campaign using the distinctive designs of Esther Mahlangu.

Mahlangu, a celebrated Ndebele artist, has replaced the Belvedere Palace on the bottle with the striking and vibrant geometric symbols so synonymous with her tribe’s artwork. Each symbol carries a meaning – security, support, change and unity – signifying the collective sentiment for all those joining the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Esther Mahlangu has been acknowledged with critically-acclaimed success for nearly thirty years, carrying on the traditional painting style of the Ndebele, involving great precision using soil-based paint, chicken feathers and bundles of twigs as brushes – and the new Make The Difference campaign makes the fifth year of Belvedere’s partnership with (RED).

Belvedere itself brings quality to the partnership. The brand’s distinctive character and uncompromising integrity are recognised internationally by discriminating vodka enthusiasts who appreciate its all natural, additive free character.

Crafted using Polish Dankowskie Rye and blended with water from its own local pristine source, Belvedere’s taste profile is distinctively soft with a subtle sweetness and smooth, clean finish.

In celebration of the Make The Difference Campaign, Belvedere is introducing two (RED) cocktails, available at featured bars and restaurants – including M Victoria Street and M Threadneedle Street.

The Belvedere (RED) Spritz is created with a bitter aperitif, orange wedges and rosemary, and the Belvedere (RED) Martini couples the signature spirit with sweet vermouth, bitters and a dash of maraschino liqueur.
