Aspinal of London launches the ‘Crossing Paths’ collection
Rich conker leather, aged brass and exceptional craftsmanship define the British brand’s new men’s edit for Autumn/Winter 2026.

There are some things that simply get better with age. A favourite pair of shoes, a well-worn jacket, a mechanical watch, and, perhaps most satisfyingly, a beautifully made leather bag. It’s an idea that sits at the heart of Aspinal of London’s new Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, ‘Crossing Paths’.
Inspired by the fleeting encounters and shared experiences that punctuate modern life, the collection is set against the familiar backdrop of London. Morning commutes, coffee stops, chance meetings and journeys across the capital form the setting, with Aspinal’s leather goods designed to accompany their owners throughout.
And while the wider collection introduces a rich seasonal palette of Praline, Chocolate Brown, Moleskin, Deep Wine, Navy and Forest Green, it’s the new men’s edit that particularly caught our attention.
Here, Aspinal has returned to the fundamentals of great British leather goods: exceptional materials, considered design and craftsmanship intended to last. The collection is rendered in a particularly handsome rich conker-brown leather, bringing warmth and character to a series of classic men’s accessories.
Leading the charge is the Heritage 36 Hour Holdall. Designed for everything from an overnight business trip to a spontaneous weekend away, its supple leather is complemented by stylish aged-brass hardware and versatile compartments. More importantly, it is the sort of bag that shouldn’t be kept pristine. With every journey, the leather will develop its own patina, ensuring that no two examples will age in quite the same way.
The same philosophy extends to the Heritage Soft Briefcase. Less rigid than the traditional boardroom briefcase, its softer construction makes it well suited to contemporary working life while retaining the sense of permanence you want from a serious leather bag. Again, aged-brass details provide a handsome counterpoint to the conker leather.
Then come the smaller pieces. The Heritage Passport Cover, Card Holder and Luggage Tag allow the collection to be carried across every stage of a journey, while the Luxury Hudson Journal, accompanied by a gold-plated pen, provides an appealingly analogue finishing touch. Matching the accessories with the larger bags creates a complete leather travel set without feeling overly coordinated.
It is an approach that feels particularly appropriate for Aspinal. The brand says its pieces are designed not simply to be carried, but to become trusted companions, objects woven into personal stories, cherished over the years and ultimately passed from one generation to another.
And that may be the greatest appeal of ‘Crossing Paths’. In a world increasingly filled with things designed to be replaced, Aspinal is making the case for buying something once, using it properly and allowing it to become better with age.
